Thomas Muigg, founder of Xbirds, gained his outstanding experience, knowledge and competence over decades in technical, operational and managing positions with Tyrolean Airways, November Aircraft Service, The Flying Bulls / Red Bull and several other aviation operations.

We supervise, inspect and certify maintenance, overhauls, repairs and modifications and approve EU-registered aircraft and components for release to service in accordance with pertinent EASA regulations.

We perform condition, annual and progressive inspections.
We supervise, inspect and certify maintenance, overhauls, repairs and alterations and approve U.S. registered aircraft and components for release to service in accordance with pertinent FAA regulations.

ACG: “You do the work, we do the cert”*
We supervise, inspect and certify maintenance, overhauls, repairs and modifications and approve OE-registered Annex II aircraft and components for release to service in accordance with pertinent ZLLV regulations.
*For individuals, organizations, clubs, etc having the skills and means, but no authority to certify aircraft maintenance

We supervise, inspect and certify maintenance, overhauls, repairs and modifications and approve U.S.-registered and OE-registered historical aircraft and components for release to service in accordance with pertinent FAA and ZLLV regulations.

Organizations:
Xbirds supports your aviation organization with experience and resources, such as Maintenance Managers (MM), Continuing Airworthiness Managers (CAM), Airworthiness Review Staff (ARS), Certifying Staff (CS) and Quality Managers (QM) in accordance with pertinent EASA Part 145, Part M Subpart F, Part M Subpart G, OPS and ZLLV regulations.

EU-certified:
Thomas Muigg is EU-certified Expert in Aviation in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17024 and delivers internationally recognized expert opinions, Air Accident Investigation reports and appraisal reports to courts, prosecutors, insurance companies, organizations and individuals.
His field of expertise spans the entire spectrum of international aviation and related services, including aircraft maintenance, operation and aviation organizations.

Accredited & Sworn:

MANAGEMENT

Aircraft Management:
An aircraft is a major capital investment. As such, it must be evaluated, checked and managed from the initial purchase through its lifecycle in order to maximize its long-term investment and enjoyment potential.
Xbirds helps clients manage this process through their technical and operational expertise and knowledge of international maintenance, airworthiness and operational requirements.
This knowledge combined with our approvals and understanding of the full range of aircraft technology, allows us to perform audits and inspections of aircraft and any of the related individual systems.

Airworthiness Review:
We are in the evaluation process for an “independent Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization” (CAMO) for EU-registered aircraft as per EASA Part M Subpart G.
